Therapy Dog Spreading Love

A therapy dog visited Rosie on her last day in the ICU.

Rosie would want to spread love where it's needed most. We adopted Jack from the Rancho Coastal Humane Society, chosen for his kind and loving nature and named after Rosie's old dog. Jack passed his Good Canine Citizen Test and Pet Assisted Therapy Dog Evaluation in March 2026. He completed three supervised visits at a kids’ camp, an adult day care, and a nursing home. Jack plans to make weekly visits to bring comfort and peace to people facing difficult times. In June, Jack passed his background check and can now spread love at the District Attorney’s One Safe Place, where community resources come together to support victims of crime.

As of July 1, 2026, Jack has spread love to 630 souls.
